Karen Marshall’s body, mind, and heart do not belong to her alone. She shares them with over a dozen other personalities. Her official diagnosis is Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder. By following five women in group therapy living with the disorder, the film delves deeply into DID, a condition that both fascinates and puzzles modern psychiatry.
Olga Lvoff is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and a graduate of SVA SocDoc. Her recent full-length documentary film, When People Die They Sing Songs, was nominated for a Student Oscar in 2014, won a CINE Golden Eagle Award, and participated in many festivals including DOC NYC.
