This is the story of Moses, a celebrity drummer from the Grammy-nominated African Children’s Choir, who relies on his youthful resilience to secure his future. Growing up in the slums of Kampala, Uganda, Moses and his family lack enough resources for him to even attend first grade. Moses is only eight when the film begins.  We follow him as he works for an education and spreads the magic of his African childhood. The film is a character-driven heartfelt story of resilience and the impact of education.  The film is stunningly shot and told through Angel, Moses and Nina's perspectives on their one shot journey from poverty to education. Their story is an intimate look at the inner workings of the Choir and how each child processes the joys and challenges of their life-changing opportunity.
